Liz and Michael at front desk are wonderful. Very welcoming, kind, hospitable, and gracious. The room was sparkling clean and nice and big. The parking is amazing - as a business traveler, it’s really important that I have easy in & out complimentary parking and Hampton inn never lets me down. Looking forward to the free unlimited coffee and breakfast in the morning. Thank you again to Liz and Michael for making me feel so welcome and comforted here. 😊😊

This is a lovely hotel in a lovely downtown. The hotel manager Liz was an absolute treat and became a memorable part of our stay -- she was so welcoming right off the bat, gave us a rundown of top restaurants and area highlights, and was so personable and fun to talk to throughout the two night stay. The hotel itself is located in a prime location walkable to the best food spots in the area and has some really nice amenities. The rooms themselves are clean with nice bathrooms. However, I cannot give more than an average score due to the uncomfortable mattresses like other reviewers have mentioned. Otherwise, 5/5 on service and location elements. Definitely a top contender for staying in La Crosse (especially if they update their mattresses).

My family and I stayed here for a few days while my father was on a business trip. The staff was extremely friendly and caring towards my family and I during our duration of our stay. They also were extremely kind to my dog and were very friendly with him as well. The room was clean, I know we have stayed at past Hamptons and they weren't, but everything was extremely clean and well kept! Breakfast was well stocked and the staff was out there constantly checking to make sure that everything was clean and kept up. I can for sure say that my family and I were very satisfied with our stay here.

My friends and I had a great experience at the Hampton Inn & Suites in La Crosse. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making our trip delightful. The location was great with many restaurants, shops, and attractions within walking distance. The kids loved the pool, and the fitness center was roomy and provided a great workout. Would absolutely stay again.

Four hrs into our 7 hr drive, I realized that I had booked a week later than we were arriving. My wife called the hotel and explained what happened to Andrew. He very quickly took care of us. When we arrived Andrew was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast the next morning had tons of options and was very satisfying.

A good hotel. Accommodations, amenities, and service were all above average. No complaints. ... except perhaps the number of dogs at the hotel, which is weird right? Not exactly cheap, but then what is at present?

Very nice clean hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and stocked at all times. Loved the cut fresh fruit options. Not many hotels offer that! Beds and pillows were comfortable. Shower pressure was good. We will definitely be back

This is a great location! Short walk to Oktoberfest grounds, downtown, and Riverside Park. There is designated (FREE) parking which is a really great amenity to have, especially being so close to downtown. They also have a happy hour on Wednesdays for hotel guests - FREE beverages! I did not partake in the breakfast, pool, or fitness center and I wish I would have. The rooms are clean and spacious, the only downside is the walls do seem to be a little thin as I could hear my neighbors a bit - but that is fairly normal in hotels. I'd definitely stay here again the future!
